LMF Tech Accelerate 2024

The Lady Margaret Foundation’s Tech Accelerate 2024, held from November 14–16, 2024, at the Accra Dichangemakers, was a transformative three-day event aimed at equipping 50 young individuals with essential tech skills. With 40% female participation, the program highlighted LMF’s commitment to gender inclusion in technology.

Program Highlights

—Day 1: Focused on foundational tech skills, including an introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and hands-on training in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing.

— Day 2: Covered Web Design basics and specialization in Graphic Design (logos, posters) and advanced Videography techniques.

— Day 3: Participants explored Freelancing, Client Acquisition, and showcased their project work. Certificates were awarded, recognizing achievements.

Program Impact

The initiative empowered participants to:

•⁠ ⁠Build skills in AI, Graphic Design, Videography, and Web Design.

•⁠ ⁠Pursue careers in freelancing, entrepreneurship, or tech-driven businesses.

•⁠ ⁠Leverage innovation for sustainable solutions.
